Furnished in a contemporary style with an art deco influence, the modern fittings and cutting edge technology on board the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV are combined with sophisticated public areas for an elegant finish.
Harmonious colors and teak flooring are used throughout the boat which, along with modern and eye-catching furniture, makes it a luxurious floating haven. On the sun deck, teak is combined with Egyptian marble around the heated swimming pool, giving an eclectic look to this open area - the perfect place to relax. The dining room, whose walls are decorated with hand painted images depicting everyday life in Nubia, has deep leather chairs that perfectly compliment the overall art deco feel of the boat.
The Sanctuary Sun Boat IV is a contemporary chic, sleek boat with heavy art deco influences. There are 36 standard cabins, two presidential suites and two royal suites. Each spacious ensuite room features air conditioning, a mini bar and LCD television with satellite. All cabins have Nile views and are fully air-conditioned with individual control.
The luxurious cabins (18m²) on board the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV boast floor to ceiling windows (except on the Nile Deck) and are an elegant blend of contemporary chic, with art deco influence. The calming tones and harmonious furniture, along with cutting edge fittings, create the perfect solace from which to view the Nile.
The Presidential suites offer splended views of the Nile during your cruise. With a spacious 38m² area, the suites also feature an LCD screen with satellite and in-house movies for your personal preference.
The royal suites (55m²) of the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV are an oasis of luxury for the discerning traveler on their luxury Nile cruise. Offering a private balcony with striking Nile views, the calm, yet vibrant tones of the furnishings provide guests with a relaxing ambience. The entertainment facilities, as well as the amenities, offer indulgence, comfort and luxury rolled into one.
There also is a non-smoking policy throughout all internal areas of the boat and a no mobile phone policy throughout the public areas of the boat for guaranteed relaxation.

4 Day/ 3 Night Aswan to Luxor Every Friday
Day 01: Friday EMBARK IN ASWAN
Arrive on your 5-star Premier Nile cruise boat, where you will be welcomed by the reception staff. Lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon, visit the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples, and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk.
Enjoy afternoon tea served in the lounge and tonight you will be greeted by your Boat Manager as you enjoy a selection of canapés with some complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer. Gourmet dinner served on board.

Day 02: Saturday PHILAE, KOM OMBO AND EDFU TEMPLES
Breakfast buffet on board followed by a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika. Later, an Egyptian cooking lesson will be presented on board. Enjoy lunch, while you cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Afternoon tea will be served while you cruise to Edfu followed by a chance to explore the Temple of Horus at Edfu.
"Egyptian Night" costume party for all guests, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian "galabeyas". Dinner will be a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties, followed by oriental music and dancing for everyone.

Day 03: Sunday WEST AND EAST BANK OF LUXOR
Breakfast buffet will be on board whilst sailing to Luxor. This morning your Egyptologist will guide you around the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun and then onwards to the Temple of Karnak.
After lunch, visit the Valley of the Kings. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the river Nile, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.
Return to your cruise for afternoon tea on board. Tonight's farewell dinner will be a gala dinner (jacket required), with white-gloved waiters serving gourmet cuisine.

Day 01: Monday EMBARK IN LUXOR
Check-in to your 5-star Premier Nile cruise boat before starting the day at the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. Return to the boat where you will be welcomed by the reception staff. Lunch will be served on board followed by a visit to the West Bank of Luxor to explore the Valley of the Kings. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the river Nile, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.
In the evening you will be greeted by your Boat Manager for a Cocktail Reception, who will review your cruise program for the upcoming days. Complimentary cocktail and a selection of canapés will be served followed by a gourmet dinner.

Day 02: Tuesday TEMPLE OF HATHOR AND LUXOR TEMPLE
Breakfast buffet on board while you cruise northwards to Qena*. Enjoy a morning visit to the Ptolemaic Temple of Goddess Hathor in Denderah, complete with a massive stone roof, dark chambers, underground passages and towering columns inscribed with hieroglyphs. Hathor was the goddess or pleasure and of love, usually associating her with Aphrodite. Return on board for lunch whilst sailing back to Luxor.
Afternoon tea will be served on board, from which your Egyptologist will guide you on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, to the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor dedicated to the God Amun. Dinner will be a Gourmet menu on board followed by a belly dancer, accompanied by a whirling dervish show.
(If there is low water - normally 1 Nov to 28 Feb - we normally take a bus to Denderah).

Day 03: Wednesday EDFU AND KOM OMBO TEMPLES
Breakfast buffet on board while you cruise to Edfu with a morning visit to explore the extraordinary Temple of Horus. Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea on board, while you continue cruising to Edfu. There will also be an Egyptian cooking lesson presented on board. In the afternoon visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

Enjoy your afternoon tea served in the lounge and tonight's farewell dinner will be a gala dinner (jacket required), with white-gloved waiters serving gourmet cuisine.

Lunch will be served on board after which you'll proceed to the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. Here you will see the Unfinished Obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries.
In the evening you will be greeted by your Boat Manager for a cocktail reception, who will review your cruise program for the upcoming days. Enjoy local Egyptian wine and beer, as well as a selection of canapés, followed by a gourmet dinner.

Breakfast will be served on board and you will have the morning at leisure whilst sailing to Luxor.
Visit the West Bank of Luxor where you will enjoy lunch. Explore the Valley of the Kings, a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, richly decorated, and filled with treasures for the afterlife by generations of Pharaohs. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
On the way back to the Nile River, you will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.
Afternoon tea and dinner will be served on board. Tonight's dinner will be a gourmet meal (jacket required).

Day 04: Monday TEMPLE OF KARNAK
Breakfast buffet will be on board followed by a visit to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great "Hypostyle Hall" is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral.
Return to your cruise for afternoon tea on board where you can spend the afternoon soaking up the Arabic sun on deck, or enjoy some of the boat's other facilities such as the lounge bar. Enjoy local Egyptian wine and beer, as well as a selection of canapés, followed by a gourmet dinner.
